Each year, Initiative for a Competitive Inner City (ICIC) publishes an annual report filled with powerful data about how their programs support small businesses in underserved communities. But behind every statistic is a human story—and that’s where video makes all the difference.
Over the years, we’ve partnered with ICIC to bring those stories to life, highlighting real business owners whose journeys reflect the true impact of ICIC’s work. Using remote video, we were able to connect with entrepreneurs across the country, capturing authentic interviews and gathering photos that added texture and context to their experiences.
The result was a series of videos that transformed the report from something you simply read into something you feel. By putting faces and voices to the mission, these stories helped audiences see the ripple effect of ICIC’s work—and the real people driving change in their communities.
