At Riveo Creative, we believe in the power of meaningful storytelling. But today, we’re pausing to tell a story of our own—one that reflects 16 years of perseverance, creativity, and community: we are thrilled to share that we’ve been named Women Business Enterprise (WBE) of the Year for the Southern Tier Region of New York State.

This incredible honor stems from our official certification as a New York State Women-Owned Business, a distinction that has opened new doors and allowed us to connect with likeminded professionals, partners, and champions of diversity in business. Winning the WBE of the Year award is a humbling reminder of how far we’ve come—and how strong we are when we work together.
For those of us who are small business owners, the day-to-day grind often means we don’t stop to celebrate the journey. But this award is a powerful reminder that the long nights, creative risks, and relentless passion are worth it. It’s a chance to take stock of everything our team has built—and the incredible impact we’ve made through our work in video production, marketing strategy, and storytelling.

The award ceremony and accompanying conference were more than just a celebration—they were a vibrant gathering of brilliant minds and passionate changemakers. We were deeply honored to stand among such inspiring professionals and entrepreneurs who are pushing boundaries and championing inclusive growth in our region.
What struck me most was the clear, resounding message: diversity in business isn’t just a trend—it’s a necessity. Despite the noise that sometimes suggests otherwise, our community is living proof that inclusive, collaborative innovation is not only possible, but thriving.

This recognition means so much, not only because it celebrates our past, but because it energizes our future. It reaffirms our mission to tell stories that matter, to elevate voices that need to be heard, and to work in true partnership with the organizations, clients, and communities we serve. At Riveo Creative, we’ve always believed in leading with integrity, curiosity, and heart. Our journey as a women-owned business has never been about checking boxes—it’s about rewriting the script, challenging the status quo, and lifting others as we climb.
